Last year, Ryan and I started a tradition of having both of our families come to a Christmas brunch at our house. Last year, we had it on Christmas Eve. But, most people couldn't stay very long to socialize once the eating was done, because it was Christmas Eve and they had things to do, preparations to make, and other places to be. So, this year, we decided we would make it our Annual Saturday-Before-Christmas Brunch, thereby ensuring that people will still be off of work, but most likely won't have to rush off right away. And, it seemed we were right... at least for now. Almost everyone was able to come and everyone that did come stayed to play games and socialize afterward.
She did have a wardrobe change. It was quite warm that Saturday and she was getting hot, even with our air conditioner running. So, her aunties took her to play dress-up and came back like this. Notice the shoes?

Ryan and I got up early that morning and went to buy a new DSLR so that we'd be sure to have it for Christmas morning. Here are some practice shots someone (possibly Ryan, my dad, or Becca?) took.

(We got back from our trip to Michigan that Tuesday, where Leila had taken a few steps toward crawling. She managed to just take off on Wednesday, though, so she was into everything at the brunch.)
