On Sunday afternoon, December 19th, we took Leila to visit the North Pole Express in... well... the North Pole, of course. (Actually it was Grapevine, but don't tell her!)
The wind was really cold that day and we weren't prepared for it. We were originally going to take the stroller, but we thought the Moby would work better and be warmer.
We parked at the Grapevine Library and took a shuttle to Santa's village.
We saw a glass blower making ornaments...
Leila was very impressed.
We also saw a show before we boarded the train. (Between us, we could've skipped it and been just as happy.)
Aaalll Abooard!
Total tangent...some people probably won't agree with me, but I'd just like to say that I LOVE living near the airport. It is so exciting to me to see planes taking off and landing and to think about where they've been and where they're going. Sometimes they look so low it looks like they're about to land on us driving down the highway. Love it!
Eating snacks afterward
On the shuttle headed back to our car. Leila was a tired baby.
